Mul oli küll tunne, et vananenutena on Neubauten´i meestest kogu power välja voolanud ning omaaegse energilise metallitagumise asemel venitatakse vaid vedru, hõõrutakse pappitükke vastamisi ja lastakse kogu kontserdi alal vaid ühel pisikesel mutril plekile kukkuda. Jõuetutest lugudest parim oli hitina tuttav Sabrina mis rokkis, ülejäänud palad lihtsalt soigusid, oigusid ja vaibusid.

Mich haben die Nachricht und die Bilder der letzten Abrißarbeiten des Palastes der Republik sehr traurig gestimmt;nein ich (Jahrgang 1972) bin kein Ostalgiker:aber ich habe bis heute nicht verstanden,warum der Palast der Republik abgerissen werden mußte.Es gäbe eine Vielzahl von Asbest-verseuchten Gebäuden im ganzen Land,worum sich keiner kümmert.
Bei mir entsteht eher der Eindruck,es soll alles ausgelöscht werden,was die Deutschen in Ost und West jemals daran erinnern soll,dass es 40 Jahre lang einen zweiten deutschen sozialistischen Staat gab.Die Bundesrepublik hat niemals die DDR anerkannt und genauso erkennt Sie die Gefühlslage der Ostdeutschen bis heute nicht an.Wir sind eigentlich nur fehlgeleitete und falsch erzogene Halb-Westdeutsche,denen man sagen muß,was gut ist und schlecht war.
Dem Grunde nach ist es ein typisches deutsches Geschichtsverständnis-was nicht mehr passt,wird zugemauert oder einbetoniert.
Tschüß-Palast,die Politiker die nun glücklich sind,dass er nicht mehr steht,werden nicht verhindern können,dass ich der "Nachwelt" noch von Ihm erzählen werde!
